World-Class Scientific Publication – 2021

We cordially invite you to attend the 9th International Scientific and Practical Conference “World-Class Scientific Publication – 2021: Global Trends and National Priorities”

About the Conference

The annual International Scientific and Practical Conference “World-Class Scientific Publication” which is usually held in Moscow is the largest and most prestigious event in Russia dedicated to the development of the publishing industry in the fields of science and high education. The aim of the Conference is to raise the level of regional academic/ scholarly journals and publications of Russia (predominantly), CIS and Eastern Europe countries for promotion better vision and recognition of these countries’ research results in the world, among scientific community and with the access through global citation databases and other information resources. The diversity of topics covered at the Conference expands and deepen every year.

Due to the ongoing communication and education of the target audience of the Conference that consists of editors, publishers, reviewers, experts, authors and managers in science and education, the quality of publications constantly raises. This, in turn, helps to improve the visibility of Russian, CIS and some EE countries’ journals through indexing in the main scientometric databases – Scopus, Web of Science and other information resources. However, the better international recognition of journals and publications, from one side, and finding the balance with internal challengers that connect with R&D integrity, development and evaluation, from another, leads to the necessity to discuss and find the better ways of concordance of these not always corresponded purposes. The 9th International Scientific and Practical Conference “World-Class Scientific Publication – 2021: Global Trends and National Priorities” will discuss these issues.

Not only the challenges of promoting journal and publications to the international scale, but also the issues of building a system of scientific journals, publications and information resources within a single or group of countries will be considered during this event. The topics will cover various common problems, such as ethics, proper editorial policy, transition to Open Access model, the use of international and national resources, as well as specific problems related to the particular field of knowledge. In addition, the key issues of the development of the publication component in the framework of national projects and increasing the credibility of Russian science on an international and national scale will be discussed on the Conference.

The organisers invite everyone who is interested in developing and determining the future of the scientific publications and publishing activities in Russia, the CIS countries and other non-English speaking countries.

We also welcome the foreign experts in sphere of scholarly publishing who would share their experience in achieving the international level and national credibility of academic journals.
